Meet Elizabeth Hutton

Following the stillbirth of her son Toby in 2010, Elizabeth has worked tirelessly to spare other families the same heartbreak. Becoming CEO in 2014, she passionately advocates that small actions by individuals and organisations make a big difference.

Elizabeth was part of the Stillbirth Public Health Messaging Task and Finishing Group that wrote the consensus statement for reducing stillbirth for the Department of Health. In addition, she was the vice chair for the PAPPO (Placental Assessment Predicting Pregnancy Outcome) study group. Working with MP Antionette Sandbach, Elizabeth's campaigning to ban home dopplers led to an MHRA investigation and many retailers removing them from sale.

Elizabeth received a Points of Light award from David Cameron, recognising her tireless work. She's also appeared on television shows such as This Morning to raise awareness.
